The Young India Skills University, Telangana (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2024State Act of Telangana · Act 13 of 2024

(1) There shall be a Rector who shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendations of the Vice- Chancellor in such manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes from among the senior faculty in the University.

(2) The Rector shall perform such duties and exercise such functions and powers as the Vice-Chancellor may specify and shall assist the Vice-Chancellor on academic and administrative matters.

(3) The term of the Rector shall be co-terminus with the term of Vice-Chancellor.
