The Young India Skills University, Telangana (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2024State Act of Telangana · Act 13 of 2024

(1) The Finance Officer shall be a whole-time official of the University appointed by the Board of Governors either on deputation or by direct appointment, to be chosen from a list of three officers to be obtained from the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the rules made by the Board of Governors in this behalf. He/ she shall be the employee of the Government and the salary, allowances, pension and other remuneration shall be paid in the first instance out of the Consolidated Fund of the State and later recovered from the University.

(2) The Finance Officer shall maintain the accounts of the University and also advise the University on all matters relating to income and expenditure.

(3) The Finance Officer shall be present at the meetings of the Finance Committee and participate in the discussions but shall not be entitled to vote.
