(1) The Executive Committee will do all the works and discharge all such activities which are essential to fulfil the objectives enumerated in Rule- 7 above.
(2) In the meetings of the Executive Committee, there shall be thorough review of schemes and programs of each Coordination Committee, monitoring of achievements against pre-determined short term, medium term and long term targets; and the reports relevant shall be prepared to be presented before the Council.
(3) To decide the procedure for procurement/purchase of goods and services in consonance with the prevalent government rules and procedures and put up before the Council for approval.
(4) To make regular supervision and monitoring of the Stakeholder Departments and to take all necessary steps for timely achievement of targeted objectives of the Road Safety.
(5) Meeting of Executive Committee will be headed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will work under the general direction and supervision of the Chairman of the Executive Committee.
(6) The Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Committee can take decision on any work which is necessary for fulfilment of the objectives of the Road Safety. The approval of such cases will be obtained in the next meeting of the Executive Committee.

(7) In case of dissent of the members of the Executive Committee on any point, the Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Committee will take final decision.
(8) The Executive Committee will review the implementation and compliance of laid down policies and directions given by the Council from time to time.
(9) Assist the Council in framing of rules for the regulations, bye-laws and procedures of the Council and from time to time also assist in making required amendments, changes and annulments in them.
(10) Take all necessary actions for preparation of Annual Report, Annual Accounts, Financial Estimates and Audit Report and getting them approved by the Council.
(11) Take all necessary action for appointment of the auditor named for annual audit and put up for approval by the Council.
(12) Prepare the organisational structure, service conditions and appointment procedures regarding administration, scholars, experts, technical, secretarial and other posts for the Council and present it for the approval of the Council.
(13) To perform all those duties which are directed by the Council from time to time.
