Section 13: Departmental Promotion Committee

Promotion will be considered on the basis of recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee. The constitution of the Departmental Promotion Committee shall be in accordance with the structure of the Departmental Promotion Committee determined for service departments by the Government, from time to time:

Provided that the Departmental Promotion Committee for consideration of promotion in the maximum grade-pay of the service shall be presided over by the Chairman or Member of the Commission.
