Bihar Food Safety Service Rules, 2014State Rules of Bihar · 2011

(1) The appointment in this service shall be made by direct recruitment to the basic category posts (Food Safety Officer and Food Analyst) on the basis of recommendation of the Commission.

(2) (a) For direct recruitment in both the cadres of the Bihar Food Safety Service, minimum educational qualification shall be as specified in Appendix -1.

(b) For direct recruitment, minimum age-limit shall be 21 years and the maximum age – limit shall be the same as may be determined reservation categorywise, from time to time, by the Government. (General Administration Department). 1 st August of the concerned year shall be deemed to be the cut off date for determination of age.
