(1) Appointment in General Duty Sub-cadre shall be by direct recruitment, to the basic grade post (Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist) on the basis of recommendation of the Commission. In Specialist Sub-cadre also appointment shall be, by direct recruitment, to the posts basic categories (Specialists physiotherapists/ Occupational therapist) on the basis of recommendation of the Commission.
(2) In case of non-availability of eligible Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist for the appointment, appointment may be made by the Government on contract basis out sources according to necessity and in public interest, for a limited period, for which procedure for appointment may be determined by the Government.
