Section 6: Qualifications

Bihar Physiotherapist/ Occupational therapist Cadre Rules, 2014.State Rules of Bihar · 2011

(1) For appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist in General Duty Sub-cadre, minimum educational qualification shall be Bachelor in Physiotherapist/Bachelor in Occupational therapy from the recognized university/Institution.

(2) For appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Specialist Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist in Specialist Sub-cadre, minimum educational qualification shall be Masters in Physiotherapy/Master in Occupational Therapist from the recognized university/Institution.

(3) For direct recruitment in the Bihar Physiotherapist/Occupational Therrapist cadre, minimum age limit shall be 21 years and maximum age limit shall be the same as may be detetmined reservation categorieswise, from time to time, by the Government. 1 st August of the concerned year shall be deemed to be the cut off date for determination of age.
