The Chief Inspector shall be responsible for the supervision of all Certified Homes, Special Homes and Work Houses in the State and for this purpose he may visit such Homes and Work Houses, inspect the records thereof, and if necessary, recommend suitable action in respect of any inmate or against any act of the Superintendent or the Managing Committee to the Managing Committee or the State Government, as the case may be.
