Section 15: Functions of the Superintendent

A Superintendent shall be appointed by the Managing Committee with the prior approval of the Chief Inspector and shall be responsible for all matters relating to medical examination, health, discipline, labour, punishment and control of the persons remanded to or detained in such Certified Home, Special Home or Work House.

He shall also be responsible for the proper maintenance of the records and registers and for the disposal of articles under these Rules.
