"(3) A land holder/Raiyat may submit before the Assistant Settlement Officer in survey office or camp office, a self declaration in respect of land held by him in Form-2 and Pedigree in prescribed Form-3(1).
(4) Self declaration shall be received by the Assistant Settlement Officer as per provisions provided in sub-rule-(1) and the same shall be verified with the help of different Revenue records of right.
(5) Assistant Settlement Officer shall verify details of self declaration with the help of different records of right such as last survey khatiyan, Jamabandi Register, Khesra Register, last consolidation khatiyan, continuous khatiyan and other available revenue records.
(7) After verification of self declaration, concerned Assistant Settlement Officer shall prepare verification certificate in Form-3.
(8) Any self declaration which could not be verified by the Assistant Settlement Officer due to non availability of the relevant records or due to disputes a brief reason for non verifications shall be maintained in a separate register in Form-4.
