(1) The Finance Committee shall meet at least twice in a year.
(2)- The Chairman or in his absence, thevice Chairman or in the absence of both, the Secretary shall preside over the meetings.
(3) AU meetings ofthe Committee shall be called by the Secretary at fifteen days notice.
(4) If any three members of the Committee desire a meeting to discuss a matter of urgent importance, the Secretary shall call a meeting forthwith and the requirement of fifteen days notice shall be deemed to have been waived.
(5) One-thirdmembers shall constitute quorum.
(6) All questions shall be decided by majority of members present and voting.
(7) Each member shall have one vote and in case of tie,lthe Presiding Officer shall have and additional casting vote.
(8) Ifbusiness of the Committee has to be transacted urgently without waiting for a formal meeting to take place, the Pro Chancellor may authorize the circulation of questions to the members for decision, which shall be deemed as valid decision of the Committee for action; however, such decisions shall be circulatedat the earliestto all concemed for information and compliance.
(9) All other details relating to the conduct of meetings, functions etc., of the F i c e Committee shall be as per regulations.
Ad hoe Committee
43. The University shall have power to constitute ad hoc Committees for any purpose connected with the aEairs of the University and such Committees shall present their reports to the Pro Chance110~ The reports are advisory innature and wherever fa~ible shall be actedupon by theuniversity.
