(l) The Rcgional Fire OIIicer or the Chief Fire Offrcer or any other officer (s) authoriscd fu him in this behalf by a general or special order shall issue a Fire Safeqr Certificate in "Fonn B13" to tlre owner or occupier of the building or premises with srch conditions as may be specificd in the Fire Safdy Certificate for compliance of fire prevention and fire safety measures as specified under these rules.
(2) The application for grmt of Fire Safety Cedificate shall be made to tbe Regional Fire Officer or the Chief Fire Officer in "Form Bt4- and shall be accompanied with a certificale from the architect and owner or occupier to the effect lhat all the fire prevention and fire safety areasures as required under nrl e 22 have heerr incorporated in the buildng or premises.
(3) On receipt of the application made under sub-iule (2), the building or premises shall !q inspegted by the Fire Oflicers to ascertafu tho availability and operability c,f the trre preventiat and fire safety measur€s who shall scn6 his report with recommendaiion to (hc Rcgional Fire Ofilcer or the Chief Iire Officer for grant or re{irsal offire safet-v c€rtificate.
(4) On receipr of the rec4mmerdations under sub nrle (3), the Regional Fire OIficer or the Chief Fire Oifice. stralt grant the fire safety certificate in the relevant pr.elcribed form u reject the same for reasons to be recorded in writing and coomunicate to the owner or occupier' as the case may be'
(5) In case of rej€lctiod of application for grant of fire safety certificat€ under sub-rule (4), a fresh ,ppti""tion shall be made by thc o*ner or occupier under sub rule (2) duly complying with the requirements aiiornmunicated under sub-rule (4).
(6) The buildings or Femises that have already been iss ificate' for the o""upu.r"y of the building o{ p€mises shall deemed to have been cate' under ntle 23 s;bje;t to verification ofcompliance of fire prevention and which the 'No Objection Certificate' was ised on the last occasion
