(1) The Chairman shall be paid monthly honorarium along with such allowances as per terms and conditions specified by the Government from time to time.
(2) Every non-official member shall be paid such travelling and daily allowance for attending its meetings or any other work of the Aayog as admissible to grade-I officers of the Government of Haryana.
Powers, duties and functions of Chairman.

6. The Chairman of the Aayog shall have the following powers and perform the following duties and functions, namely:-
(i) he shall be the head of the Aayog and shall preside over all the meetings of the Aayog;
He shall exercise all financial and administrative powers entrusted under the Act;
(ii) he shall work to keep liaison between the Government and the Aayog;
(iii) he shall have powers to form committees/sub committees and appoint member of such committees/sub-committees for the purpose of implementation of various programmes and projects of the Aayog with the concurrence of members;
(iv) he shall take appropriate measures to generate funds with the concurrence of the Aayog by way of accepting grants, subventions, donations and gifts from the Central or Government of Haryana any local authority, institution, society, trust or companies or from private bodies or persons;
(v) he shall co-ordinate the planning of the Aayog’s activities;
(vi) he shall have financial power to grant assistance upto ten lakh rupees to the registered Gaushalas subject to such norms, as may be specified by the Aayog;
(vii) he shall have financial power to grant assistance upto ten lakh rupees to the registered Gaushalas in the case of natural calamity after obtaining report from the concerned Deputy Commissioner and subject to such verification as approved by the Aayog;
(viii) he shall guide and supervise general working of the Aayog;
