Section 63: Language of Wakf Tribunal section 83

The language of the Wakf Tribunal shall be English / Hindi Provide that the parties to a. proceeding before the Wakf Tribunal may file documents drawn up in Hindi/Urdu/English, if they so desire.

Provided further that a Wakf Tribunal may in its discretion, permit the use of Urdu in the proceedings. However the final orders shall be in English / Hindi.

64. Form of Application for suits/appeal U/s 83 (1) of the Act-

(1) The application for determination of any dispute, question or other matter under sub- Section (1) of Section 83 shall be filed in Form No.78.

(2) Every suit or appeal filed before the tribunal shall, as far as practicable, be in the form of plaint or memorandum of appeal, as the case may be as is stipulated in the Code of Civil procedure and with the court fee as prescribed in schedule I and schedule II of the court fee Act 1870 (Act no Vii of 1870) as amended time to time.

(3) Every such application suit or appeal shall be presented by the applicant in person, or by his duly authorized agent or advocate, to the / Peshkar of the Tribunal.
