Section 11: Amendment of the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977)

The Karnataka Land Revenue and Certain other laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2006.State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 12 of 1964

In the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977),- in section 26,- in sub-section (2), in clause (c), in the second proviso, for the words “Divisional Commissioner” the words “Regional Commissioner” shall be substituted;

in sub-section (3), for the words “Divisional Commissioner” the words “Regional Commissioner” shall be substituted.

in section 71, in sub-section (1), for the words “Deputy Commissioner of the District" the words “Regional Commissioner of the revenue region” shall be substituted;

in section 178-A, in sub-section (1), for the words “Deputy Commissioner of the concerned District" the words “Regional Commissioner of the concerned revenue region” shall be substituted.
