Section 10: Custody and Maintenance of Children born of Child Marriage

Maharashtra Prohibition of Child Marriage Rules, 2022.State Rules of Maharashtra · 2007

(1) The Child Marriage Prohibition Officer shall make an application to the District Court for an order under section 5 of the Act for the custody and maintenance of children born of child marriage.

(2) The Child Marriage Prohibition Officer shall assist for the compliance of the District Court’s orders in respect of the custody and maintenance to be provided to the child by a party or parties to the marriage or their guardians.
