Section 9: Non-disclosure of identify of child

Maharashtra Prohibition of Child Marriage Rules, 2022.State Rules of Maharashtra · 2007

(1) The media, print digital or electronic, while creating awareness about child rights and adverse effects of child marriages shall report about child marriages in a sensitive manner without disclosing the identity of the child.

(2) The Child Marriage Prohibition Officer, Child Welfare Committee, Child Care Institution, police or any organization or institution shall not disclose the identity of the child.
