Section 16: The Foundation Programme

(1) The B. Des.programme shall commence with a one year common Foundation Programme.

(2) The Foundation Programmeshallprovide the necessary direction, stimuli, facilities and experience to foster creativity and design thinking.

(3) Allocation of discipline choice of student for the B.Des. Courses at the end of the common Foundation Programme shall be based on merit-cum-choice basis, for the number of seats prescribed in each discipline.
