Section 11: Death Gratuity

Punjab Privately Managed Recognised Aided Recruitment Benefit Schem, 2012State Rules of Punjab · 2009

In case of an employee who dies in harness, the death gratuity shall be admissible at the rates given below:- Length of service Rate of Gratuity 2 (D (iD Less than one year One year or more but less than five years Five years or more but less than twenty years Two times of pay;

Six times of pay;

Twelve times of pay; and(ii') PUNJAB GOVT GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 2, 2012 (sR\rN ll,t934 SAKA) 321 \

(iv) Twenty years and above Half pay for every completed six monthly period of qualif ing service, subject to a minimum of thirty-three years payl

Provided, that the amount of the death gratuity shall in no case exceeds rupees one lac.
