4. Added vide Notification No. F. 10(13) Forest/ 2004, G.S.R. 83, dt.13-1-2010 7 1[(2) The application for grant of a license to operate a wood handicraft saw mill shall be made to the licensing officer, by the owner; of the wood handicrafts saw mill, in Form 3.
(3) Such wood handicraft saw mill shall be a certified member of any one of the Handicraft associations notified by the Government for this purpose.
(4) The application shall be accompanied by the following documents: –
(a) a site plan indicating specific location of the unit indicating its stockyard, relevant installations and waste disposal areas,
(b) likely source/sources of procurement of raw material and,
(c) proof of valid membership of the handicraft association.
(5) Upon receipt of the application, the licensing officer shall, after conducting such enquiry as necessary, forward the application to the Committee prescribed under sub-rule (i), within a period of 45 days from the receipt of the application, along with his comments which shall mention clearly whether or not the application is recommended for grant of license.
(6) If the Committee approves the grant of license to the applicant, the licensing officer shall grant a license in Form 4 to the applicant.
(7) the license granted by the licensing officer under sub-rule (6) shall be non-transferable.]
