Section 17: The Dean of Faculty

The Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur Act,2009State Act of Rajasthan · Act 6 of 2009

(1) There shall be a Dean o f each Faculty who shall be appointed by the V ice-chancellor for a period o f three years in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes.

(2) The Dean shall convene meeting o f the Faculty , as and when required , in consultation with the Vice-chancellor and shall preside over the same. He shall formulate the policies and development programme o f the faculty and present the same to the appropriate authorities for their consideration.
