38. Officers to be public Servants - Every officer and authority duly authorised by the State Government to perform any function or discharge any duty imposed on him or it under this Act or the niles or order made thereunder, shall be deemed to be a public Servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
