Section 24: Hours of attendance

Ordinarily the Distillery Officer and other staff posted at a distillery shall be on duty for a total period not exceeding six hours a day. The Joint Commissioner shall fix the hours of attendance in consultation with the licensee.

If the licensee requires the attendance of any of the said staff beyond their normal working hours, as specified above, in a day or on Sundays or on authorized holidays they may so attend.

In such cases the staff shall be entitled to overtime fees for work done at the rates specified from time to time by the Commissioner and under such conditions as may be imposed by the Commissioner.
