0) The Finance C'omnlittee shall consist of the following members, namely :- I 1
(a) the Vice-Chancellor ; I
(b) the Secretary to Government, in-charge of Finance ;
(c) the Secretarj to Government, in-chage of Health and Fagily Welfare ; and I (d) three members nonlinated by the ~ o v e r n i n i Council from among its members. I
(2) If for any reasons. the member referred to in clause ( I . ) or clause (c) of sub-section(lJ, is unable to attend any inecting of the Finance , Committee, he may depute any officer of his 'Department coi lccs~~~d tlot llower in rank than that of Denuty Secretary to Government to attend such meeting. The officer so deputed shall have the right to take part in the discussions of the Finance Committee and sl~all have the right to Vote. I

(4) The members noainated by the Governing Council under clause (d) of sub-section (I), shall hold office for a period of three years.
(5) The annua; accounts of the University prepared by the Finance Officer shall be laid before the Finance Committee for consideration and comments and thereafter submitted to the Governing Council for approval.
