Section 18: Duties to be performed by teachers

Tamil Nadu Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2009

In addition to the duties specified in clauses (a) to (e) of sub-section (1) of section 24, a teacher shall perform the following duties assigned to him, namely:-

(a) participation in training programmes;

(b) participation in curriculum formulation, and development of syllabi, training modules and text book development.

(c) maintain pupil cumulative record for every child.
