(l) Every citizen having applied for any citizen related sewices may be provided an application number by the concemed Public Authonty, or local Authority. as rhe case may be, and may be entitlcd to obtain and monitor status ofhis applicaiion online in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed
(2) Every public authoriry or lo(al Authority, as lhe case may be, may mainiain slatus of all applications goveming citizen relatsl services onlin€ and may be duty bound to update the status ofthe sam€ as pe. the procedur€ as prescribed by rules in this resard.

E-govemance of senic€s; -As a part of E-gov€manc€, the Govemment shall endeavour and encouage the public Authoriries, to deliver their citizen relared sen r(es elecronically or Ihrough posl i, a phased manne. and in such other mmer d ruy be prescribed subject to payDent of such fees as may be prescribed.
