(1) Leave cannot be claimed as a matter of right. When the exigencies of service, require, the Director or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf shall have the full discretion to refuse or to cut short leave of any description.
(2) Casual leave during a calendar year shall be limited to a maximum 14 days. In addition, a member of the service may avail of restricted leave subject to the limit of two days.

(3) Officer authorised by the Director shall be the authority competent to grant casual leave to a member of the centralised service. Leave of other kinds shall be sanctioned by the Director or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf in accordance with the provisions in F. H. B., Vol. II, Parts II to IV. For this purpose a member of the service shall make an application through proper channel Scope of Service.
33. A member of the service shall devote himself exclusively to the duties assigned to him from time to time during the usual working hours and whenever necessary, as the exigencies of work require.
Whole time of a member at the disposal of a market committee.
34. Whole time of a member of the service shall be at the disposal of a market committee and he shall serve the committee in such capacity as he may be directed from time to time.
Observance by a member of orders of a superior authority.
35. A member of the service shall comply with and obey all orders and directions which may from time to time be given to him by any person under whose control and superintendence he may be working.
Courtesy by a memberin official dealings.
36. A member of the service shall soryoia Market Committee honestly and faithfully, shall show courtesy, attention and diligence in his dealings with any person with whom he may may come into contact in his official capacity.
Participation of a member subversive activities
37. A member of the service shall not take part in, and subscribe, in aid of, or assist in any way, any activity subversive of law and order.

38. A member of the service shall not leave the station of duty without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority, Application for employment else-where
39. A member of the service seeking employment elsewhere outside the Market Committee shall make an application through proper channel. The Director reserves the right to withhold such application without assigning any reaon therfor.
Part-time Employment
40. A member while in service or on leave of any kind shall not accept or seek an outside employment without the prior written sanction of the appointing authority.
Canvarsing
41. No recommendation, either written or oral, in regard to the candidature of a person for a post in the Centralised Service, will be taken into consideration, Any attempt on the part of a candidate to enlist support directly or indirectly in this connection will disqualify him for appointment.
General Conduct
42. A member of the service shall at all times conduct himself in accordance with the provisions contained in the conduct rules applicable to Government servants in Uttar Pradesh which shall mutatis mutandis apply to him.
Disciplinary Proceedings.
43. The rules relating to disciplinary proceeding, appeals and representations against punishment, applicable to the employees of the State Government shall matatis mutandis apply to the members of the centralised service.
13 Holidays
44. The holidays to be observed by the members of the service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Board for each calendar year.
