(1) A record of service and character rolis shall be maintained in respect of each member of the service in such forms as are prescribed by Government for its employees from time to time.
(2) The appropriate authority, of each Market Committee shall send to the appointing authority by 30th Aprit each year his annuals confidential remarks in respect of the work and conduct, of the member of the Centralised corvices working under him.
Age of Retirement.
46 (1) The date of superannuation of a member of the service shall be the date on which he attains the age of 60 years or that decided by the Board from time to time.
(2) No member shall be retained in service beyond the date of superannuation without specific extension in service or re-employment being granted by the Board which, in no case, shall go beyond the age of 60 years with the prior approval of the State Government
(3) Irrespective of the date on which a member attains the age of spar annuation, he will retire on the last day of the month in which he attains the ago of superannuation.
(4) The appointing authority may permanent or temporary) without assigning any reason require him, to retire after he attains the age of 50 years or such member may by notice to the appointing authority volun tarily retire at any time after attaining the age of 45 years or after he has completed qualifying service of twenty years. The period of such notice shall be three months.
Explanation-For taking action under sub-regulation (4) the provisions of clause (c) (including its explanation), of the "Funda-mental Rule 56 of the Uttar Pradesh Funda-mental Rules in Financial Handbook, Volume II, Parts II to IV as amended from time to time and such other rules, regula-tions, instructions, orders as may be generally applicable to Government servants serving in connection with the affairs of the State of Uttar Pradesh shall mutatis mutandis apply."
