Section 6

The Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Produce Market Committees (Centralised) Services Regulations, 1984State Regulations of Uttar Pradesh · 1964

(1) The strength of the service and of each category of posts there and the scales of pay shall be such as may be determined by the Board from time to time.

Provided that scales of pay shall be such as may be recommended from time to time by the Pay Commission and approved by the State Government.]

(2) All the existing posts under the Market Committee covered by the Centralised Service shall form the present strength of the Service.

3) The appointing authority may leave unfilled or the Board may hold in abeyance, any vacant post or class of posts without thereby entitling any person to compensation.

(4) The Board may create such additional permanent or temporary posts from time to time as may be found necessary.

Academic and other Qualifications 2[7. A candidate for direct recruitment to the various posts in the cadre of the service must possess the qualification laid down in column 2 of the table given below. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a candidate possessing the qualification and/or experience laid down in column 3 of the said table:

Preference shall be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Degree from a recognised University in a Agriculture Economics/Agriculture Marketing or M.B.A.

(Agri Business Management) from the institute recognised by AICTE or equivalent thereof 2-secretary class-2 Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, agriculture Marketing. Science, Commerce, Economics/ Agriculture Economics from a recognised University.

Preference shall be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Degrees from recognised University in Agriculture Economics/Agriculture Marketing or M.B.A.

4 with atleast 50 percent marks and atleast 50 percent marks in intermediate. For scheduled Caste/ scheduled Tribes, Other Backward classes candidates Bachelor Degree from a recognised University with atleast 45 percent marks and atleast 45 percent marks in intermediate.

(2) Amin/auctioners Bachelors Degree from a recognised University.

Experience of agricultural marketing work

(3) clerk-cumtypist/Cashier- cum-clerk/ account clerk Bachelors Degree from a recognised University.

experience of handling of cash and having knowledge of keeping accounts and minimum speed of 25 word per minute in Hindi typing.

(4) (one)mandi sahayak(kamdar) high school pass one year experience in a market committee or in an Agriculture marketing orgnization.

8. Age limits for the candidates for direct recruitment to different classes of posts in in the centralised service shall be as prescribed fer recruitment to posts under the State Government:

Provided that the upper age limits for employees of the Committee shall be greater by five year or the number of years of service they have put in the Committee, whichever is less.

9. Regulations regarding character, marital status and physical fitness of the candidates for recruitment to different classes of posts in the Centralised Service shall be as prescribed for recruitment to posts under the State Govern ment.

PART III-RECRUITMENT AND ITS PROCEDURE Sources of Recruiment.

10. Recruitment may be made either-

(a) from open market (By direct recruitment);

(b) by promotion:

Provided that any posts required to be filled by direct recruitment, may, in the discretion of the Board, be filled by taking persons on deputation.

Reservation

11. Reservation for candidates belonging to Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes and others in respect of posts in the centralised service shall be made in accordance with the orders of the State Government in force at the time of recruitment.
