(1) An employee directly recruited shall commence to draw the minimum pay and allowances applicable to the post or the pay and allowances Indicated in his letter of appointment from the date he assumes charge.
(2) In the case of employees who are appointed by promotion from a lower grade, their pay shall be fixed in accordance with the provisions contained in Financial Hand bock Vol. II, Parts II to IV.
(3) In the case of employees taken from Government on deputation their pay will be as agreed upon between the Board and the Government.
(4) In the case of employees engaged on contract basis their pay will be fixed according to the conditions of contract entered into between the Board and the employees concerned,
(5) Payment of other emoluments e. g. special pay, post-graduate pay etc. will be made by the Board on the merits of an individual case bearing in mind the rules contained in Financial Handbook, Vol. II, Parts II to IV and such other instructions as issued by the State Govern-ment from time to time.
