Section 264: Meetings of the Board

Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 2020

(1) The Board shall meet at least once inthree months at such places and at such times as may be decided by the Chairperson or as and when any matter is referred to it by the State Govern-ment for advice.

(2) The Chairperson of such Board shall preside over every meeting of the Board in which he is present and in his absence he may nominate a member of the Board to preside over such a meeting in his place and in the absence of such nomination by the Chairperson, the member of such Board present in such meeting may choose from among themselves a member to preside over such a meeting.
