(1) If the Transport Minister, Uttar Pradesh is nominated by the Chief Minister as the Chairperson, then no separate salary and allowances will be payable to the Transport Minister for working as the Chairperson of the Authority.
(2) Unless specified otherwise, at the time of appointment, the salary, and allowances payable to the Chairperson (if an expert person is appointed by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) and Vice-Chairperson shall be: -
(2) Chairperson (if an expert person is appointed by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) : as per ‘fixed” monthly salary admissible to the Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh; )
(b) Vice-Chairperson: as applicable to the officers of the State Government of the rank of Principal Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
(c) Secretary: as applicable to the officers of Transport Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh holding the rank of Additional Transport Commissioner.
(3) In case the Chairperson (if an expert person is appointed by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) or the Vice-Chairperson is in receipt of any superannuation pension at the time of his appointment, the pay of such person shall be reduced by the amount he receives in the form pension, including pension equivalent of gratuity.
(4) The salary of the Chairperson (if an expert person is appointed by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) or the Vice-Chairperson shall mot be varied to his disadvantage during the period he holds the office as the Chairperson (if an expert person is appointed by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) or the Vice-Chairperson,
(5) During the period of re-employment, that fixed pay will be admissible to the re-employed personnel which is the result of deducting the amount of net pension (if any before capitalization) from the last drawn basic pay of the re-employed personnel or the maximum of the pay scale of the re-employed post, whatever is less; it will not be more than that. During the period of reorganization, deamness allowance will be admissible on the sum of net salary and net pension. Separate relief on pension will not be admissible.
(6) The period of reinstatement will not be counted for pension and no traveling allowance will be payable after joining or terminating the post. '
