(1)Beat shall be allocated in the rivers of plain area with the tender system.

12 Procedure of Beat Allocation

(2) The detail of the beat to be allocated shall be submitted to the beat allocation committee by the district level fisheries officers through Director, Fisheries after the discussion with the department concerned with the water reservoir which shall invite tender for this purpose.

(3) The directions regarding tender shall be determined by the department secretary of the state government,

(4) Other procedure of tender shall be followed according to the Uttarakhand Procurement Rules, 2008.

(5) The term of contract of beat shall be of five years and term shall be calculated including the duration till next 30th June.

(6) Tenderer or Participant in tender for consent on terms and condition shall present consent letter, security amount and character certificate conferred by concerned District magistrate (except Uttarakhand State Fisheries Development agency if participate in tender) and status certificate with the tender.

(7) On the basis of recommendation of committee provided in rule 7, Order and license regarding permission of contract of fishing and fisheries managements of body shall be issued by Director fishery after prior approval of state Government.

(8) License for contract of fisheries management, fishing and fish evacuation shall be issued to concerned working institution/ person in Prescribed form (according to annexed appendix 4) .
